On Wednesday 15th October 2008 we held the long awaited offical opening of our New Educational Facility!

The opening ceremony was performed by Councillor Ian Jones - Cabinet Member for Children & Young People.

This was followed by a tour of the new facilites by visitors and official guests, including the Mayor of Sandwell, Councillor Robert Price. Afterwards everyone was treated to colourful displays of Gymnastics and Bhangra dancing by the pupils of Shenstone joined by children from Ferndale and Jubilee.

To mark our special day, Councillor Jones later unveiled a commemorative plaque which can be seen in the entrance corridor to the new Gym,
